Chickens and Eggs

At Renewed Roots Ranch we have a lively flock of chickens producing rich, healthy, fresh eggs for our family and yours. We currently raise Orpingtons, a docile, dual-purpose English breed, and Marans, a French dual-purpose breed known for their deep chocolate-colored eggs. Orpingtons come in a variety of colors. We have primarily lavender, a stunning pale "blue" color, and chocolate, a bird that starts rather bland, but, as it matures, takes on a deep, truly chocolate hue to their feathers.
